Thank You!

Heritage Winnipeg extends a heartfelt thank you to all the amazing guests, dedicated volunteers, gracious hosts, and generous sponsors of Doors Open Winnipeg 2025. Your contributions were pivotal in making this event a success! We were thrilled to witness such a massive turnout, demonstrating your unwavering support for the 22st anniversary of this event. Doors Open Winnipeg 2025 was a delightful opportunity to explore Winnipeg’s diverse neighbourhoods, each boasting unique spaces, remarkable architecture, and rich history.

We thank everyone who participated in the social media contest and scavenger hunt. We enjoyed seeing your selfies and hearing about your adventures in search of our friend, the Golden Boy. We also value your input in the 15th Annual People’s Choice Awards. Remember, contests and voting are open until Friday, May 30th, at 11:59 p.m., so there’s still time to join in the fun!

Doors Open Winnipeg may be done for 2025. However, you can still enjoy some heritage at home with our free downloadable Manitoba Day Activity Booklet, which contains a variety of fun activities and colouring sheets. Or pick up a copy of our best selling book, Winnipeg 150: Stories Our Buildings Tell, available at most major bookstore or through our online store.

If you enjoyed Doors Open Winnipeg this year, please consider donating to this free community event or becoming a member of Heritage Winnipeg. Your membership helps us advocate for and celebrate our built heritage, and keeps you updated with the latest heritage news, events, and opportunities.

We look forward to welcoming you again next year on May 30th and 31st to celebrate the stories that our buildings tell!

Cheers,
Heritage Winnipeg
