The 1912 former Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce building sits in the heart of Winnipeg’s historic Exchange District at 389 Main Street, a true “temple of finance” on Bankers’ Row. It is the perfect backdrop for events of all shapes and sizes from breakfast meetings and conferences to elegant sit-down dinners and performances. Both air conditioned and wheelchair accessible, discounts are available for non profit charitable organizations renting the space.

Built to impress with no expense spared, the 6,000 square foot Celebration Hall can host up to 350 guests (occupancy may be reduced depending on COVID-19 restrictions). The former banking hall features exquisite marble and plaster finishes with a leaded glass dome, 52 feet in diameter, towering 14 feet above. A commercial kitchen, sound system, tables, chairs and a piano are included in the space.

For more intimate events, the Tapestry Room is the perfect space featuring rich wood trim, a stately fireplace and newly restored ceiling. Once the bank manager’s office, the original tapestry which covers the walls gives the room its name. With plush leather furniture and room for 45 guests (occupancy may be reduced depending on COVID-19 restrictions), it is an elegant space overlooking Main Street.
