Thank You!

Heritage Winnipeg would like to give a huge and sincere thank you to all the guests, volunteers, hosts, and sponsors of Doors Open Winnipeg 2023 that helped make the event a great success! It was wonderful to have so many people come out and support the the 20th anniversary of this event. Doors Open Winnipeg 2023 was such a great weekend to get our and explore Winnipeg’s wonderful neighbourhoods, filled with distinct spaces, outstanding architecture and vibrant history.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the social media contest and scavenger hunt, we enjoyed seeing all your lovely selfies and hope you had a good time finding our friend the Golden Boy. We also appreciate everyone who took the time to vote in the 13th Annual People’s Choice Awards. Both contests and voting is open until Friday, June 2nd at 11:59pm, so there is still time to take part!

Doors Open Winnipeg may be over for 2023 but you can still enjoy some heritage at home with our free downloadable Manitoba Day Activity Booklet, full of fun activities and three original colouring pages by local artist Robert Sweeney!

If you enjoyed Doors Open Winnipeg this year, please consider supporting this free community event through a donation or by becoming a member of Heritage Winnipeg.
