National Trust Conference 2024

Building Bridges

The National Trust Conference will be in Montreal this year with heritage volunteers, policymakers, and professionals from across Canada. This year’s theme, Building Bridges, will explore the connection of places, cultures and practices. The conference will have five tracks: “From the Drawing Board to the Worksite: Techniques, Materials and Practitioners,” “Historic Structures Meeting Contemporary Requirements,” “Climate Imperative and Historic Buildings and Places,” “Advancing Diversity, Inclusion, and Reconciliation” and “Removing Systemic Barriers to Heritage-Led Reuse.” Discover how heritage is a social and economic force, discuss sensitive additions to historic places and heritage districts, gain empowerment through heritage advocacy sessions, and participate in partnership learning to better safeguard Indigenous legacy. Meet peers from all throughout Canada, as well as potential employers or project collaborators. You don’t want to miss this important event!
