The National Trust Conference (with Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals & Indigenous Heritage Circle) is Canada’s largest heritage learning & networking event. Every year, the conference brings together 500+ individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including professionals (new and established), artisans and advocates, developers, planners, heritage site operators, researchers, students, and volunteers from across Canada and beyond. This lively annual gathering includes challenging and fascinating case studies and lessons from heritage practice, communities, and industry, as well as productive debate and goal-setting discussions.

The National Trust Conference will be in Halifax this year with heritage volunteers, policymakers, and professionals from across Canada. This year’s theme, Heritage Now!, will explore the urgent need to protect, sustain, and reinvent our heritage places.
