Heritage Winnipeg’s 2026 Annual General Meeting was held on September 24th, 2026, in Celebration Hall at the historic Millennium Centre at 389 Main Street. It was wonderful to gather with heritage supporters, volunteers, board members, and community members to reflect on another year of heritage conservation and advocacy in Winnipeg.

This year’s AGM featured an engaging keynote presentation by Gordon Goldsborough, Acting Executive Director of the Manitoba Historical Society, titled “The State of the Heritage Sector.” Drawing on his extensive experience as a historical researcher, author, and creator of numerous historical and multimedia projects, Goldsborough explored the current challenges facing the heritage sector, as well as opportunities for collaboration and growth.

We greatly appreciate Gordon Goldsborough for joining us and sharing his knowledge and perspective on the future of heritage!

A big thank you to Heritage Winnipeg President Greg Agnew for his leadership and tireless volunteering over the past year. And to all our supporters, volunteers, staff, and board members, a huge thank you for your generosity, knowledge, commitment, and passion. You make our work possible!
