EVENT INFORMATION
Heritage Winnipeg’s 2026 Fall Fundraiser
Thursday, October 1st, 2026
The Former Glasgow House at 34 Middle Gate
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Join us for an amazing evening at the former Glasgow House, a deserving winner at Heritage Winnipeg’s 2025 Annual Preservation Awards. Enjoy live music, wine, hors d’oeuvres from Bergmann’s on Lombard, and a fireside chat with owners, Wins and Rae Bridgman!
Constructed in 1911, this home has been a fundamental part of the Armstrong’s Point neighbourhood, Winnipeg’s first Heritage Conservation District. Between the 1980s to the 2020s, the Thomson family maintained the home. Unfortunately, a chimney fire occurred in 2020, severely damaging the the home. Alongside Priority Restoration, the Thomsons restored each element of the home after the fire. The current owners nominated the Thomsons for Heritage Winnipeg’s 2025 Annual Preservation Awards, celebrating their hard work and dedication to restoring the home. This is a story that serves as a great reminder of the importance of protecting Winnipeg’s historic places!
Celebrate heritage, community, and preservation at our Fall Fundraiser, hosted in this beautiful historic home!
