Stories Our Buildings Tell – Volume Two Book Launch

On February 6 and 7, 2026, Heritage Winnipeg celebrated the successful launch of “Winnipeg: Stories Our Buildings Tell” Volume Two at Indigo St. Vital. The event provided opportunity for attendees to meet and chat with the authors, have their books signed, and honour the heritage buildings that have helped shape our city.

Volume Two features 120 pages of original artwork by local artist Robert Sweeney, showcasing Winnipeg’s rich architectural history. Each illustration is accompanied by the fascinating stories behind these buildings written by Robert Sweeney and Heritage Winnipeg’s President, Greg Agnew.

The second volume is now available at all three Indigo locations, alongside the first volume. The first volume can also be purchased at both McNally Robinson locations.

Heritage Winnipeg would like to thank everyone who attended the book launch and supported the release of Volume Two. Copies are available in both paperback and hardcover editions. All proceeds from book sales support Heritage Winnipeg’s ongoing efforts to conserve and celebrate Winnipeg’s built heritage.
