New Exhibit Opens: Love Letters

Heritage Winnipeg’s Executive Director, Cindy Tugwell, attended the grand opening of Oseredok Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Centre’s newest exhibit, Love Letters: A Timeless Experience, on October 23, 2025. Located in the historic 1913 building at 184 Alexander Avenue until spring 2026, the immersive event invites guests to “wander through captivating displays that celebrate the timeless art of expressing love through letters”.

Heritage Winnipeg is pleased to wholeheartedly support this commemoration of adoration by loaning our historic bronze mailbox, while the Millennium Centre loaned a display case. “With beautiful visuals along with intimate love stories, it is definitely worth visiting,” said Tugwell. You will not want to miss this passionate exhibit that will bring out your inner hopeless romantic while warming your heart with its enduring artistry and emotion.
