Heritage Winnipeg’s 3rd Annual December Donation Drive
We are once again inviting you to make a difference in your community by supporting our efforts to advocate for and celebrate Winnipeg’s rich collection of historic resources through our December Donation Drive. Your donation is an investment in the future of all Winnipeggers, helping build a diverse, vibrant, sustainable and desirable city that we can all be proud to call home!
The funds raised during our December Donation Drive allow us to provide free services – helping communities save important heritage buildings and making them financially viable, putting on events such as Doors Open Winnipeg, supporting the arts, mentoring students interested in heritage, providing guidance to building owners and more. Though our efforts are mostly unseen, we work tirelessly to find constructive solutions, support individuals and organizations doing good work, and follow through on projects no matter how many years it takes for them to have a positive outcome. We strive to be forward thinking and embrace challenges, ensuring our endeavours will benefit Winnipeg for generations to come!
In this giving season, we ask you to consider contributing generously to our December Donation Drive so we can continue our important work. Be sure to donate on or before December 31st, 2022 to receive a 2022 tax receipt.
To say thank you for a donation of $250 or more, you will receive your choice of two beautiful books, Armstrong’s Point: A History or Treasures of Winnipeg’s Exchange District. For donations over $500, the donor will also have their name or company posted on our website as a way of celebrating their philanthropy. Regardless of how much you can donate, contributions of all amounts make an impact and are greatly appreciated.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and volunteers, we thank you in advance for taking the time to consider supporting our charitable organization. Together, we can make a difference for Winnipeg’s priceless built heritage!
Happy holidays and all the best in 2023!
